Chris
Let's dive in.
00:00:55:11 - 00:01:27:07
Filly
Hello! Welcome back to the podcast. As promised, we have got part two of pulling back the curtains so that you can get a little sneak peek inside what it looks like at the body nose retreat. If you caught last week's episode, you would have heard me share my own personal insights and shifts and identity upgrades that I moved through in order to create the retreat and also to facilitate, guide and lead the retreat.
00:01:27:07 - 00:02:01:19
Filly
And I shared some really key moments for me in the retreat. This week's episode. I really wanted to dive into the magic of the retreat, like the real magic of the retreat that I heard over and over and over again from many other retreat attendees. And that is the power of shared and collective healing experience. And this was I mean, it was something that I knew would happen.
00:02:01:19 - 00:02:42:22
Filly
It's something that I've experienced when I've gone to really intentional transformational retreats. There's also something I've experienced when I've gone to retreats that haven't really created the container for transformation, and it's kind of felt disconnected and a bit superficial. So again, when I was birthing the idea of this retreat and creating the container which would hold the transformation, I really wanted it to be a powerful shared healing experience, a collective shared healing experience in real life, in flesh with people who are living and breathing the same air as one another.
00:02:43:02 - 00:03:17:20
Filly
There's something really powerful about sitting together in circle, taking off your mask, sharing with openness, with honesty and safety, breathing together, practising together, singing together, moving together without this filter. Over several days with the same group of women on the same journey that you. I don't experience just doing like one on one work or even online workshops or, you know, even in person to our workshop.
00:03:17:22 - 00:03:49:09
Filly
This multiple day retreat experiences is so unique. And I was reflecting on why is this so powerful. And so I love the science. So I've actually did a bit of research around what actually happens from a scientific point of view when people come together to heal and transform together. So the brain does something. When we connect with other humans in person.
00:03:49:11 - 00:04:20:17
Filly
There our brains release high levels of oxytocin. So oxytocin is like the lovely feel good connection. And also the research shows that cortisol plummets. And this flood of oxytocin really helps to reduce adrenaline and cortisol much faster than if you're isolating or relaxing alone. And this is given this only happens in a in a really safe group experience.
00:04:20:17 - 00:04:52:16
Filly
I'm not talking about you go to, I don't know, a group workshop or something. And it's annoying people there and there's like people that are judgemental. This happens when you're feeling safe and connected in a group of people. Your dopamine and serotonin also boosts. So the act of sharing stories and being heard by other people triggers the reward centres of the brain, and it elevates your mood and creates an immediate sense of belonging.
00:04:52:18 - 00:05:22:19
Filly
We want all of these lovely hormones and neurotransmitters in our body. Neural pathways can also change as well when we're in group together in a healing, transformational, safe experience. So as an example, when you witness another person expressing honestly without a filter, you have a thing called mirror neurones that fire in unison. So this creates a shared empathy and compassion for the other person.
00:05:22:19 - 00:05:52:09
Filly
But it also helps to validate any suppressed or repressed pain without you having to speak. So, and this is really nice for those who don't love, like verbally sharing in a group. There are people that love it. There are people that find it very therapeutic, very nourishing. It helps them to process and integrate. And then there are people who don't love speaking some very personal details in the group.
00:05:52:09 - 00:06:20:19
Filly
But what this does is if you do have other people sharing, that person who is sharing is their neurones are activating and the person who is a bit more quieter, a bit more internal. The act of you listening to that person can also help to to validate and bring to surface things that that you have suppressed or repressed, which is beautiful.
00:06:20:21 - 00:06:54:13
Filly
Also from like a amygdala point of view, if people have experienced past distressing events or holding on to past beliefs and patterns and programming, this can keep the amygdala or the brain's alarm system on high alert. And so when you're in the safety of a circle or group of other people, without judgement, without the filter, this actually helps to reassure the amygdala that there's no immediate threat.
00:06:54:15 - 00:07:22:04
Filly
And this allows us to reprocess these beliefs and past experiences at a deeper level when the body feels safe. And this was a big part to of like choosing the right location and even right down to like what sense of people sense in terms of smells, what smells are people going to be smelling, and what do the cushions look like, and how do people feel all the sensory things.
00:07:22:04 - 00:07:43:17
Filly
And Chris is showing some things on it from socials. All the sensory things that we put into the retreat was for the aim of creating a deep sense of safety and nourishment and also beauty. Because when there's beauty, your creative centres also start getting activated.
00:07:43:19 - 00:08:11:08
Filly
Okay. And then from a nervous system point of view, you've probably heard about correlation. So we're constantly co-writing with people in our immediate environment. It also happens to when we're online, like on a zoom call with someone. But it's even more powerful this when you're in person, because you're not just visually sensing other people, you're also smelling, maybe even tasting.
00:08:11:10 - 00:08:49:07
Filly
That's a bit weird. Like even this. The smells, the touch, the the breath, the physical interactions that are happening in person is massive when it comes to correct. So if you put a group of people sitting together in a calm, intentional space that is beautiful, that has music playing, that is regulating with nourishing food and the most beautiful land and expansion, this will immediately help to regulate and bring the nervous system into parasympathetic nervous system.
00:08:49:07 - 00:09:20:18
Filly
And the research shows that heartbeats and breathing patterns also begin to sync with each other, which is pretty phenomenal. There's also yeah. So basically we can get out of fight flight or shut down much easier when we're co regulating with a group of people. Even if there are some people that are feeling dysregulated, it will start balancing out when the transformational process creates the environment to do that.
00:09:20:20 - 00:09:52:20
Filly
And then lastly, from an energetic, spiritual point of view, there is this thing called ultra weak photon emissions. Did you know that all humans emit light? I mean, go back in centuries, people believed this as a theory, but now scientists can actually measure these, the light that humans emit, and it's tiny amount of light, so most humans can't see it.
00:09:52:20 - 00:10:28:17
Filly
There are some people with more like energetic powers, super powers that can see auras around people, or even around trees or animal life. But for most people we can't see it. But it is still there. And what the research shows is that when you're accessing more higher vibrational emotions, when you're living like a truer expression of self, when you're taking off the mask and the filter, the light that humans emit is so much greater than if we are contracted, small, unhealthy, shut down, or chronically stressed.
00:10:28:22 - 00:11:09:02
Filly
So this is really cool. I really believe that this is what happened in our retreat, when we had some people coming in feeling invisible, unimportant, loser ish, people pleasing, rescuing, doing everything for everyone else. So coming in contracted small, stuck to. After three days, there were even people that were glowing like. I remember we were sitting in in the circle on the last day before we went out and did our somatic dancing, and one lady said to another, after this lady shared some insights that she's had, she's like, you're glowing.
00:11:09:03 - 00:11:32:17
Filly
Like your eyes are so bright. And we all looked at her and it's like, you are glowing. You're like so much brighter and shinier. And when we're happy and when we feel expansive and when we're free and we're connecting with ourselves and with each other, and we can see the possibilities and potentials moving forward, we glow. And that is really infectious as well.
00:11:32:17 - 00:11:55:16
Filly
So I really like I really saw that playing out, that infectious quality. That one person started glowing. And then and then it's almost like another person started waking up and another person started like connecting into joy. And it just became this beautiful collective experience.
00:11:55:18 - 00:12:25:11
Filly
Okay, there's so many key moments, I think. I mean, we will have some people coming onto the podcast to share their own individual moments. Just, just some really quick ones. There were some beautiful moments when we did the insights part of aligning, where Kris was coaching a couple of people, getting to their root belief and just the the openness and honesty and safety that was held in that space for them to get there.
00:12:25:13 - 00:12:59:04
Filly
We were all in tears. Most of us, including Kris, were in tears, and it was just a beautiful experience to witness. Also, in the grounding part of the retreat, I did a rewiring, subconscious rewiring process that really helped to integrate parts that were holding people back and some inner child work, and it involved haven and just like gently somatic moving the body and visualisation work and reimagining work.
00:12:59:06 - 00:13:28:16
Filly
And I really felt called to touch like to actually just like hold or physically haven each one of the women in the circle at the end of that practice. For me, it was like a beautiful experience of just being able to like, I felt so much love and healing outpouring from my body, and it might have been as simple as just like a little squeeze of the feet or a little touch of the hand.
00:13:28:18 - 00:13:58:19
Filly
And after that practice, there were a few women that said that physical touch was exactly what that part or that little person needed at the end of that practice. And again, that is that is the collective healing experience. When we can come together in person. There were also like communal singing. We will have Christy on our show soon and we'll talk way more about the singing there.
00:13:58:20 - 00:14:22:12
Filly
But one lady, had written a song and we all sang it together and that was like so beautiful for her to just be witnessed and seen and to share something that she'd been working on throughout her healing journey. And for us to come together and sing. I can't remember what the song was. You. You wrote it up on the laptop, on the slides.
00:14:22:14 - 00:14:28:07
Chris
Yeah, I actually I've got it right here. I've got the words,
00:14:28:09 - 00:14:55:14
Filly
Bring that up. And then along the same lines, another lady who was. So she works with us inside our ending body burnout method program. And coming on to group workshops is always quite intimidating for her. And then I can come into the retreat. But she wrote the most beautiful poem throughout the retreat as well, about no longer being invisible.
00:14:55:14 - 00:15:21:18
Filly
And again, for us to be able to hear her and witness her and celebrate her. We're so beautiful. A really. Oh, here we go. Chris has just pulled up the song I Am Who I am. Who I am is enough for me. I am safe to be me. I am healed and truly free. I am who I am and who I am is enough for me.
00:15:21:18 - 00:15:54:19
Filly
I wish I could remember the the melody of that because I'd love to sing it. And probably the one of the standouts where just the light was shining was the same dance at the end that I mentioned at the start. And again, for some people it was like that was leaning right up to the edge. And by leaning up to the edge, that might have been I like for some women, they were just swaying or shaking their hands.
00:15:54:19 - 00:16:23:12
Filly
For other women, they were like big body movements, expression of self. My my piece of advice was just get to the get to the edge but not over the edge. So again, there was safety within that you didn't have to do anything that felt like way out of comfort zone, but enough that it's like I'm leaning into the edge and I'm allowing myself to be seen, and I'm allowing myself to express, and I'm allowing myself to feel who I already am.
00:16:23:16 - 00:16:51:00
Filly
I've let go of those rocks. I've let go, taken off those coat layers, and there was a beautiful moment where one of the ladies, just like, branched off from the group, and she took up the whole space, like all of this grassy area right up to the ocean and twirling and prancing and just like crying with joy. It was so beautiful.
00:16:51:03 - 00:17:18:22
Filly
And she's actually given us feedback around that key moment for her. And any words that I share, have been given permission to share on the podcast. So she said, I'll last somatic practice. I felt the urge of energy raced through my body, the urge to skip and jump. I felt like I could fly. It was such a freeing experience.
00:17:19:00 - 00:17:20:00
Filly
Oh.
00:17:20:02 - 00:17:25:00
Chris
I've got some vision up on the screen at the moment of that. That last, last day.
00:17:25:01 - 00:17:29:03
Filly
Yeah. So if you're watching this on our like audio podcast, I'd actually recommend.
00:17:29:04 - 00:17:29:18
Chris
Listening to it.
00:17:29:23 - 00:18:04:10
Filly
Listening. Sorry. I'd actually recommend jumping over to YouTube and watching this whole episode, because we're sharing lots of beautiful videos and photos from the retreat. And then at the end, biggest hugs ever. Everyone like coming in group hugs, jewellery, hugs, just so much happiness and joy. And that's the light. Like we were all emitting more light than when we all came to the retreat.
00:18:04:12 - 00:18:15:02
Filly
And there's a couple of words that I'd love to read around this collective healing healing experience.
00:18:15:04 - 00:18:42:16
Filly
So one lady said what I loved most the place and surprisingly, the people. As you know, I mostly work internally, but sharing was the most therapeutic thing I have ever done. Being a retreat retreat virgin, I had no idea of the power of a shared emotional process. I went from torn open and raw to clear, calm and ready for my next phase in life.
00:18:42:16 - 00:19:20:19
Filly
In a weekend great investment. The program and process were transformational, allowing processes to flow and the time needed for each step feeling increase were amazing, as were the guest program providers. I felt supported and nurtured through community safety and nourishment. I could not recommend it any higher. Your body deserves it. Thank you. Pip Cooper, another beautiful woman, said a key moment for her was another woman's comment about me being a light has stayed.
00:19:20:21 - 00:19:44:22
Filly
It has asked me to see myself in a different way. Also, connecting so strongly with my beautiful 11 year old self has stayed. There are so many moments that landed and have stayed, or the amazing feedback I received about my food and my songs has landed in a way it just didn't before. I see now that I do have gifts to share that people actually want.
00:19:44:23 - 00:20:15:16
Filly
Without a doubt, one of the most amazing weekends I've ever had. The love, care, connection, and wisdom that was central to this retreat was nothing short of exceptional. It was life changing. Goosebumps. And Christy Russell. A key moment for her was, I feel so strongly the deep sense of connection with strangers who are on a similar journey with inspiring stories and desire to shine their own light.
00:20:15:16 - 00:20:24:03
Filly
And I feel their love and support so good.
00:20:24:05 - 00:20:35:19
Filly
There's so much more I prepared for this podcast, but I'm going to leave it for maybe like part two and three. And I think that that is a really beautiful place to finish.
00:20:35:21 - 00:20:38:22
Filly
After one more, one more review.
00:20:39:02 - 00:20:42:09
Chris
Okay. One more review. Yeah.
00:20:42:11 - 00:21:08:07
Filly
Okay. So another lady said definitely a thing that she loved most was definitely the circle work and the location. I loved the safety that came with this group. Lean in. You might feel unsure, uncertain or even fear, but you will never regret taking this time to remember who you are and connect with yourself in one of the most supportive environments I have ever encountered.
00:21:08:08 - 00:21:33:07
Filly
Wow! This location will connect you with nature and this team of incredible humans will reconnect you with yourself. I felt nervous going. I feel nervous going into group settings and I promise you this was worth every moment and did not feel like too much at any stage. So good. So happy. You know what? Next time someone says, how was the retreat?
00:21:33:07 - 00:22:06:17
Filly
I'm actually probably just going to read one of these these beautiful words because it sums up the the sacredness, the magic, the healing, the connection, the rejuvenation, the light that happened during those three days. Okay, now I do want to do just like some. Thank you and gratitude to all the people that supported this retreat officially, because I haven't done this anywhere else besides our email, one of the emails that we sent up.
00:22:06:19 - 00:22:32:04
Filly
But I do like I have so much love and gratitude for every person. First of all, that booked in that said yes to themselves, that leaned in, that shared, that held space for one another. So thank you to all the wonderful women who came along. I would also like to thank my husband, Chris Bullet, who has been a beautiful support and also coach in this retreat.
00:22:32:05 - 00:22:58:09
Filly
I want to say thank you to Pip, who nourished and nurtured us with her amazing food. We're going to talk more about her food with in our next episode with Virginia, who came along to the retreat. Also to the amazing Tia Duck, who was our photographer, and she was so respectful. Yeah, so compassionate in the way that she captured the retreat.
00:22:58:09 - 00:23:23:00
Filly
And I mean, we haven't seen the full photo photos yet, but she's given us a sneak peek. And just like the storytelling and the essence that she captured was so beautiful. So much gratitude. Also to the beautiful Kristie Russell, who will be coming on to our podcasts in the next couple of weeks. She held our Somatic Sound Healing session as part of the grounding on Saturday night.
00:23:23:01 - 00:23:46:09
Filly
It was so delicious, so wonderful. We did some communal singing in that as well and everyone was so sleepy after the sound healing. It was very relaxing. And also thank you to Simon Hamilton, who I mentioned earlier for holding space during the breathwork and to my amazing sister Carly. So anyone who came along to the retreat would know my sister Carly.
00:23:46:09 - 00:24:09:08
Filly
Now she was my right hand woman, made sure everything was set up and packed up and running smoothly. Helped in the kitchen. Basically she did anything that I wanted her to do. She took lots of videos and we shared a king size bed together, which was really lovely because at the end of each night we would like do a little recap on the day and how we felt and all the awesome things that happened.
00:24:09:10 - 00:24:35:06
Filly
And then we talked about lots of other random things. So that was super nice. And we also I wanted there to be just some really beautiful, meaningful, intentional gifts that were symbolic throughout the retreat as well that our people could use. So I want to thank our daughters, Poppy and Elsie. They handcrafted some gifts. So Kris is showing poppies journals.
00:24:35:07 - 00:25:02:13
Filly
She spent over two months hand painting 17 journals for our body whisperers. She went to the cove and took photos at the cove, and each of the journals represented a snippet of the scenery there. And it was beautiful. And also Elsie created really gorgeous name tags I didn't want to have, like, you know, just tacky sticker label with like someone's name.
00:25:02:14 - 00:25:06:08
Chris
Slave labour created. We wanted, we want something beautiful.
00:25:06:11 - 00:25:08:19
Filly
I wanted something pretty beautiful.
00:25:08:23 - 00:25:11:09
Chris
Natural.
00:25:11:11 - 00:25:20:10
Filly
That. Yeah. Connected to the land and the journey. So Elsie made these beautiful clay necklaces, and.
00:25:20:12 - 00:25:24:13
Chris
She, she imprinted the names of every, every participant.
00:25:24:19 - 00:25:25:17
Filly
Every participant.
00:25:25:18 - 00:25:31:07
Chris
She hand stamped, handmade. Yeah.
00:25:31:08 - 00:25:52:17
Filly
And then each one had a print of a shell to, like, connect back to the cove. I shared this reel on Instagram and I want to read Annis comment. So Annie came along to the retreat and she said, did you notice we all kept wearing these necklaces even after we knew each other's names? We all loved them so much.
00:25:52:19 - 00:25:57:17
Filly
And she said, mine is now hanging in my bedroom where I can see it every day.
00:25:57:19 - 00:25:58:20
Chris
Oh, that's.
00:25:58:20 - 00:26:15:06
Filly
So beautiful. And another lady about Poppy's journals. Poppy and Elsie, if you ever listen to this podcast, we love you. And we're just, like, shining light on you right now. But I want to find. What did she say?
00:26:15:08 - 00:26:19:21
Filly
Hang on. Do do do do do.
00:26:19:23 - 00:26:35:22
Filly
I was that one. Here we go. So, around the journals. I am so in love with my diary. It reminds me of all the peace felt at the retreat. And I'm going to frame the painting on the cover, so.
00:26:35:23 - 00:26:38:18
Chris
Thank you, pop. That's awesome.
00:26:38:18 - 00:26:55:04
Filly
So lovely. So thank you for being Elsie. And also just, I think giving us space to be able to run the retreat as well. They stayed home for some of it, but then they came and played and they were just delightful to watch. Running around. Yeah.
00:26:55:08 - 00:27:00:07
Chris
Did you say, did you say thank you to to Kim and Staff? Yes.
00:27:00:09 - 00:27:29:03
Filly
I haven't got there yet. Oh just just a couple of other people. So again with the the gifts, I wanted them to all like have a special place in Tasmania and connect it to the coast that we met on. So Olivia from Dear Valentine makes the most divine chocolate. So everyone got some chocolate. Also, Stuart from Frogs Mouth Ponds is a beekeeper that literally just lives down our road.
00:27:29:03 - 00:27:36:21
Filly
And he made these beautiful beeswax candles that we burnt in the sharing circle. And everyone got one of those as well.
00:27:36:21 - 00:27:42:08
Chris
As I get to try any of the the chocolates. I think you girls ate it all before I could like sneak some.
00:27:42:09 - 00:27:43:13
Filly
I might have some extra.
00:27:43:13 - 00:27:45:16
Chris
Stuff..
00:27:45:18 - 00:28:08:13
Filly
And then also and Emma from Pantheon Skincare made really beautiful clearing sprays with sage and different flower essences and essential oils. And that became a little bit of a theme throughout the three days. But any time we sat in practice or at the end of practice, everyone got a little spray on their face, breathed in the beautiful sense.
00:28:08:15 - 00:28:36:19
Filly
Yeah. And as Chris said before, also a big thank you to Kim and the staff at The Cove, Tasmania. It is the most sensational place. I really wanted to talk about the land in this podcast, but I'm going to save it for another episode. But yeah, it's a really, really special, sacred, beautiful slice of the planet and we were so grateful to be able to meet their meet on that land.
00:28:36:21 - 00:28:43:16
Chris
Do this. Well, yeah. Look how stunning it is. It's so beautiful. There's a bit of chocolate, two.
00:28:43:19 - 00:28:46:09
Filly
Bit of chocolate.
00:28:46:11 - 00:29:37:13
Filly
So if you have resonated with today's episode and you would love to come along to a retreat in person, in nature, with a group of like minded people to create deeper healing, deeper transformation for self and also for others. We have another retreat coming up. So between now and when we recorded last podcast, I had some ideas and I had been sitting on them for a little bit, and I was on the beach the other day meditating, and this retreat really anchored into my mind, body and more importantly, into my heart.
00:29:37:13 - 00:29:59:21
Filly
So we're holding another retreat. It's going to be different to the body noise. Don't worry if you're like, I really want to come to the body nose at The Cove, Tasmania, we will be holding, a very similar retreat in 2027, but for 2026 we have got one happening on Saturday 31st of October. Put it in your calendar.
00:30:00:02 - 00:30:40:03
Filly
This is going to be a full one day retreat. So from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. we're going to do some really deep inner work. And the retreat focus is all about heart meets land. We're meeting at Glen Eagle, Tasmania, which is another enchanting place in northwest Tasmania. When I was finding a location for our first retreat, this one popped up into my feed, but it wasn't quite right for a multiple day retreat to be able to house and accommodate everyone because there isn't a lot of accommodation.
00:30:40:03 - 00:31:12:14
Filly
But I fell in love with this property. There are three beautiful domes snuggled away in forest. There's a beautiful like a rainforest walk. When you go in there, it's kind of like stepping into a fairy forest. It is that beautiful. And Kevin and Isabel, who tend to this property and own this property, they've put so much love and care into this land.
00:31:12:14 - 00:31:37:10
Filly
And so I know that when we gather there, we really feel the love that they have put into the land, and this land feels really special as well. So I've just been, as I've mentioned before, just being called to doing more things in nature personally for myself, but also for our clients and our community. And this place is super special.
00:31:37:12 - 00:32:01:11
Filly
So I'm going to tell you a little bit about the retreat. It's happening Saturday 31st of October. Now if you are like, oh, but Fili, I'm on the mainland. I don't, I don't know if I can justify a trip down to Tasmania just for one day. I got your back. There is the option of staying for the full weekend on from Friday to Sunday.
00:32:01:12 - 00:32:35:18
Filly
There are a couple of domes still available where you can stay in a beautiful luxury dome. You have your own outdoor bathtub. Again, this place is Paradise. I think it would be a really lovely opportunity to for you to just come and rest and ground in nature on the Friday night. Then we're going to have a whole day of practices and workshops and connecting with self and the land on Saturday.
00:32:35:18 - 00:33:01:04
Filly
And then if you're staying that night as well, you'll have some integration time later that evening and in the morning before you head off again. There's also an option to camp on the land too, if you prefer to get down and dirty in the land and get closer to the land. So this retreat is called Heart Meets Land.
00:33:01:06 - 00:33:34:18
Filly
I created this one as it's it's really been in the last 18 months. My own personal transformation journey has gone from like previous to that, it was really healing at a physical and mental and emotional level and ending my body burn out, which I did, and during that process really got very good at understanding the language from my body, the wisdom from my body, and essentially healing chronic symptoms.
00:33:34:20 - 00:34:10:13
Filly
Fast forward a year or two down the track, and I was just feeling like I was feeling, well, physically, but I was feeling flat. I wouldn't say depressed, but there was something inside of me that still wasn't living. I still didn't feel fully alive. I still didn't really know how to. I still didn't really know what I wanted, what I desired, although I threw around words around, you know, I wanted more adventure and play and fun enjoying my life.
00:34:10:13 - 00:34:31:05
Filly
I wasn't going and creating that. And so there was something that was really stuck for me and that was that. My heart was really close. So I think about the heart as the organ that is our spirit or our soul, our intuition. I think about my heart as the deepest part of me that wants the best for me.
00:34:31:05 - 00:35:04:21
Filly
It's the part of me that knows who I am and knows that I have a purpose on this planet in this season and this part of me, the heart and part of you wants you to dream and desire and connect and be one with self and with others and with nature. And since I've been learning the language of my heart and living from my heart, not only has my health gotten even better, but I've been.
00:35:04:22 - 00:35:31:08
Filly
I've had so much more happiness and joy in my life. And creating things that I had been previously too scared to to create. It was almost like my heart was being protected. And although it's like, oh, do this. But my mind would always say, oh, but that won't work. Or what if you lose money doing that? Or what if you blah blah blah blah blah blah?
00:35:31:08 - 00:36:01:00
Filly
What if you go and live your dream and then your kids, I don't know, end up as alcoholics or something. So. So this retreat is all about dropping in. We're going to land first and foremost in the physical land of this beautiful place, and allow Nature Medicine to do the majority of the healing work, because it will. But you're also going to be metaphorically dropping out of your head and landing into your heart.
00:36:01:00 - 00:36:29:04
Filly
And I'm going to take you through my five step process. That has really helped me to crack my heart open, to break down blocks around my heart and to really listen to my heart, my intuition, my deeper knowing and and also how I follow through with those nudges and promptings from my heart. So these five step process is heart.
00:36:29:06 - 00:37:05:12
Filly
And we love acronyms here at Christian Philly. So heart stands for or hate stands for hold. So the first part of the retreat we're going to stop, breathe arrive. The heart is so subtle. It is the still point within you. And we have to become quiet enough and still enough to hear, unlike the body that can actually very loudly scream at us in order to hear the whisperings from our our heart, we do need to be quiet.
00:37:05:13 - 00:37:30:04
Filly
We do need to be still. So we're going to let their land hold you and you're going to get feet on the earth. We'll start off with ceremonial c t and some slow somatic unwinding, and then we're going to empty out the release. What is getting in the way. So the heart is sensitive. And that also means it's easily blocked.
00:37:30:04 - 00:37:54:01
Filly
And in this phase we are going to help you to take off the armour around the heart and empty out all the stories, the conditioning, the expectations, the protective patterns that are keeping your heart locked. So keeping your heart from being able to speak to you, keeping this part of you that wants the best for you. Silent.
00:37:54:01 - 00:38:14:09
Filly
And we haven't been taught how to do this. And this is why this part in the process is really important, because we've been so conditioned to listen from our head. So we're going to drop out of the head into the heart. And we're also going to work through blocks that have been preventing you from really listening in and knowing and living from the heart.
00:38:14:11 - 00:38:40:12
Filly
Then we're going to move to a which is awaken, and this is where we're going to come wildly alive. It is actually my favourite part of waking up my heart when I'm doing this personally for myself. Because I think about the heart as a beautiful, beating, glowing vessel. And so in this part of the retreat, I really want you to help you to feel.
00:38:40:14 - 00:39:19:20
Filly
I want you to feel the beauty, the magnificence, the joy of your heart. And so to do that will open up. We'll move. We might even do some singing or humming or dancing or play. We're going to dream and desire on the soil of the land, and I love to keep it a bit more intuitive in terms of what we do at these in-person retreats, just in the same way that I keep it more intuitive when I'm working with a client one on one, to really know what you need in order to wake up that heart.
00:39:20:00 - 00:40:12:13
Filly
So the heart is subtle, but once it wakens up, it is joy and its beauty in a way that literally feels like sunshine is reading, radiating out of you and from you. I have experienced this for myself and it feels a wonderful. So we're going to really waking up the heart. Then after more of that bigger energy activity, you're going to move to stage four, which is receive are so open up to what is already here and in this phase will quieten back down, will help you to feel into what it actually means for you to know when an intuitive download is coming from the heart versus coming from fear or conditioning.
00:40:12:15 - 00:40:51:07
Filly
And we're also going to really utilise the rainforest and the land around us and get tactile and visceral in that rainforest away from the distraction. And this will be some silent meditation where you will listen to your heart through the land and receive. It's going to be really beautiful. It's I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it because I know personally, for me, when that download has really dropped in, oh, it feels like I become limitless.
00:40:51:09 - 00:41:18:17
Filly
And I want this for you to. And then the last phase of awakening the heart is trust. So trust nudges or trust the nudges from your heart. You've just received these beautiful downloads. You've woken up the heart. You've broken through blocks. Now we need to trust or learn to trust how to follow through. So knowing is a one is one thing, but trusting yourself enough to move is another.
00:41:18:19 - 00:41:54:09
Filly
So we'll finish the day by getting really clear on your next steps to get to create what your heart wants, and to internally anchor in deep self trust. So if this feels great for you, if this is resonating, if you're like, hell yeah, I'm ready for my next level of healing or growth. Because here's the thing. When your heart is closed, when you don't know how to listen to it, especially when you're not following through from it.
00:41:54:09 - 00:42:22:13
Filly
Burnout is where that happens. When you lose connection with self, you break rapport with self. You're losing connection and rapport with your heart. This is the part that I'm talking about here. And so for those of you who are listening, who are struggling with body burnout, who are struggling with chronic health issues, it is highly likely actually, I'm going to say it is because you're shut down to your heart.
00:42:22:15 - 00:42:40:07
Filly
You don't know how to listen to it or you're not following through. You're not living in alignment from your heart. And if you're someone, especially if you've worked with us or maybe someone else and you're like, oh, I'm out of body burnout now. Like I feel good health wise, but I feel flat. I feel like I'm still not fully living.
00:42:40:07 - 00:43:10:19
Filly
I feel like I'm playing safe in my life. I feel like I can't fully trust my heart. My head continues to take over. This retreat is also for you. This will take you to your next level and I'm so excited for it. So Saturday, 31st of October, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Glen Eagle, Tasmania. You can make it a weekend and stay in a dome or a tent, but there are very limited spaces for accommodation so if you're keen you will want to jump on in.
00:43:10:21 - 00:43:40:03
Filly
We do have early bird pricing happening at the moment, but it will be disappearing in two weeks. So or before spots sell out. Our last retreats sold out, so I'm expecting the same to happen for this one. It will be a day of nature, movement, stillness, beauty, nourishing food. We will nourish you up with a beautiful, wholesome lunch and dinner, as well as snacks and herbal teas throughout the day.
00:43:40:05 - 00:44:18:06
Filly
You might even get some special gifts because I love giving gifts from my heart. The day will also compose a deep conversation root cause workshops, melodic mantras, somatic practice, heart opening work, and real human heart to heart connection. As we talked about in today's episode. So we would love to have you there. You will also get access to two of my Heart opening workshop recordings that I would love you to watch, and to even start practising and implementing pre retreat.
00:44:18:06 - 00:44:37:14
Filly
I kind of think about it as the 101 of hard work that we will be doing. So yeah. Sign up today, head to the show notes and come and join us at Heart Meets Land. We'd love to have you there in real life, in nature. It's going to be amazing.
